Retreat Terms and Conditions

Booking Agreement

This Retreat Booking Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Spiritual Badass Academy, operated by Peace of Eden Holistic Health Pty Ltd ("Academy," "we," "us," or "our") and the individual identified in the retreat booking ("Participant," "you," or "your").

1. Payment and Booking Policy

Your retreat space is secured upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit. This deposit confirms your commitment to attend and is not refundable under any circumstances. Remaining payment terms will be agreed upon between you and the Academy at the time of booking. All agreed payment schedules must be adhered to in order to maintain your reservation. All prices are in Australian Dollars unless otherwise specified.

2. Cancellation and Transfer Policy

No Refund Policy: All retreat bookings, including deposits and subsequent payments, are non-refundable. Transfer Options: You may transfer your booking to another person up until the day of the retreat. You may transfer your booking to another scheduled retreat held by the Academy up until 6 weeks before the original retreat start date. All transfer requests must be submitted in writing t [email protected]. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel or retreat insurance that covers cancellation for any reason.

3. Retreat Cancellation by the Academy

The Academy reserves the right to cancel retreats due to insufficient participation, major events, pandemics, extreme weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable controlIn such cases, we will take all reasonable measures to minimise losses to participants. The Academy is not liable for any additional expenses incurred by participants (including but not limited to travel, accommodation, or other related costs). If we cancel a retreat, you will be offered a transfer to another retreat or a credit for future Academy offerings.

4. Liability Waiver

You acknowledge that participation in retreat activities involves inherent risks. You agree to waive all liability claims against the Academy, Peace of Eden Holistic Health Pty Ltd, Kelly Wotherspoon, Kane Rawle and all staff for personal injury, property damage, or any other loss, except in cases of gross negligence. Your personal safety is your responsibility at all times during the retreat. The Academy will take reasonable measures to mitigate risks and ensure all staff are trained in First Aid in compliance with Australian standards.

5. Health and Fitness

You confirm that you are in sufficient physical and mental health to participate in the retreat. You agree to inform the Academy of any medical or health conditions that may affect your participation. The Academy reserves the right to refuse participation if your health condition poses a risk to yourself or others.

6. Retreat Conduct

You agree to follow all guidelines and instructions provided by retreat facilitators. The Academy reserves the right to ask participants to leave the retreat without refund for disruptive behaviour, harassment of other participants, or violation of retreat policies.

7. Photography and Marketing

The Academy may take photographs or videos during retreats for promotional purpose. By participating, you grant permission for your likeness to be used in marketing materials unless you explicitly opt out in writing.

8. Intellectual Property

All retreat content and materials are protected by copyright and owned by Peace of Eden Holistic Health Pty Ltd and Kelly Wotherspoon. Recording of sessions is prohibited without prior written consent.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Australia.
